How much do lessons cost and how is tuition collected?
Your first 30-minute lesson is $15. After that, 30-minute lessons are $100 per month, regardless of the amount of weeks in the month. Tuition is charged on the fourth of each month with an automatic credit or debit card transaction.

Do I have to commit long-term?
No way. You may take the first lesson with no commitment at all. After that, the agreements are month-to-month and you can cancel any time.

I do not have an instrument yet. What should I do?
Borrow one from us free! You may borrow an instrument for your trial. If you decide to register, you can take it home for four weeks. At your fourth lesson, the instrument is due back. It’s that simple. We have a small selection of instruments for sale when you’re ready or we can help you find a suitable retailer.

How long does it take to learn?
This question is impossible to answer precisely because of the amount of variables. Factors such as age, past experience, instrument, musical goals, available practice time and several others contribute. As with anything, you will get out of it what you put in and it is best to focus on periodic improvement goals rather than overall time.

What types of performances do you have?
We strive to perform as much as possible. We put on small parlor recitals, open mics and wine & cheese events as well as large-scale musical productions and concerts. In addition, we perform at various parades, festivals, shows and markets. Please see our performances page for more information.

What happens if I miss a lesson?
We always make sure you get what you pay for. If you have to miss a lesson and you notify the studio before 9pm the night before your lesson, our instructors will attempt to schedule a private make up. Otherwise, you can enroll in a master class, held each quarter. These classes are an hour long and feature listening, music theory, group playing and more.

I am going on vacation in the Summer. Can I take a few weeks off?
Our agreements are month-to-month, so you may cancel at any time. However, if you are comfortable with the teacher and time slot you have, it may not be available when you return.
