Maestro Studios Music Academy has been providing quality music instruction since
2001. Located in the heart of historic Haddonfield, NJ, the academy now has a staff
of 12 instructors and provides private lessons, ensembles, performances and master
classes.
Students of Maestro Studios are treated to a customized musical education, catered
to their tastes, styles and goals, which provides a solid foundation of technique,
style and practice habits. The environment is friendly, welcoming, FUN, and all ages
are welcome!
Opportunities are numerous, as we offer several ensembles in varying instruments
and levels as well as a wide variety of performances. Performances include:
- Annual Concert Productions: Our “flagship” performance, held every year in October,
is a unique themed production complete with lighting, staging, actors and more. Everyone
has the chance to contribute to the show, as groups are formed based on age, level
and instrument. Our last performance featured almost 100 musicians and actors celebrating
our natural world in Atmosphere.
- Parlor Recitals: These recitals are held at our studios and feature two to ten performers.
They feature a coffee shop-like atmosphere complete with refreshments.
- Studio Recitals: Held at a local venue, all students are invited to perform. These
recitals often feature ensembles and professional guest musicians and are a tremendous
opportunity to celebrate our musicians’ success.
- Parades and Festivals: Maestro Studios takes part in Haddonfield’s annual Independence
Day Parade, taking home a prize in last year’s event. The town also hosts several
festivals each year, including the Antique Car Show, Craft Fair and Fall Festivals.
The academy strives to have a performing presence at all of these events.
- Annual Musical Production with Haddonfield Theater Arts Center: Each year, the Haddonfield
Theater Arts Center puts on a large-scale musical production. Maestro Studios provides
a pit orchestra which includes both students and professionals to contribute to the
live performance on the stage.
